Spotlight on Nature's Gold by Spence Masson
What is Nature's Gold?
You're all familiar with the various reasons that our food isn't as nutritious as it used to be. Current harvesting, distribution, storage and processing methods, and even cooking can deplete the nutritional value of our foods. But fear not - here comes Nature's Gold to the rescue! Nature's Gold is a food made from 100% organic barley, but it's much more than that. It is a highly digestible whole food with such a high concentration of nutrients and enzymes that it is raised to the category of a super food. Nature's Gold is a highly nutritious food that will allow us to start healing ourselves from within.
What makes it different from regular barley?
Plant nutrients occur in their highest amount in seeds. The big problem for us humans is that the digestibility of unprocessed seed is only about 5%. So a mechanical process, the Growth Enhancement Method, was developed to control germination. This results in an increase of the plant protein levels and an increase of the digestibility of the product from 5% to 97%.
It's no secret that food with the highest nutritional value is taken from plants that have been harvested, then eaten immediately. Did you know that up to 80% of some metabolic enzymes deteriorate within the first ten minutes of harvesting?. To counter this, a secondary natural process called the Nutrient Stabilization Process was developed to stabilize the now highly-digestible nutrients in Nature's Gold for over a year. In effect, Nature's Gold takes that 10 minutes and extends it to more than 12 months. This gives us a highly digestible, highly nutritious food source.
Nature's Gold Benefits
Because of its unbeatable digestibility, Nature's Gold can transport more amino acids and nutrients into our cells. Giving our cells the essential nutrients they need enables our bodies to heal and get rid of toxins effectively. When you're driving nutrients in, you're driving toxins out. This increases the overall efficiencies of the body, and you'll find that your herbs and supplements actually become more effective.
Nature's Gold also has dramatically increased Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) levels over normal barley. SOD is a very powerful antioxidant enzyme that helps neutralize free radicals and prevent cell damage that can lead to moderate and severe health concerns.
Nature's Gold has been on the market in limited distribution through the professional channel for about 4 years now. There are many testimonials of how injuries and ailments, some decades old, have healed up. The biggest effect is that the gut has healed first, and as we know a healthy intestine is essential for a healthy body.
Nature's Gold Usage
Now, how do you use this product? Remember it's a food, so you want to use it every day. The simplest means of intake is to take a spoonful and wash it down with water. Nature's Gold is in a flour-like, powdered form with almost no taste on its own, so it has the ability to take on the taste of whatever it is put into. In other words it can be easily camouflaged for children (or other fussy eaters) if put into apple sauce, yogurt, protein shakes, cereal, cooled porridge or anything else you can think of. You can be quite creative, but avoid putting the Nature's Gold in anything that is over 35 degrees Celsius (105 degrees F), because that would destroy the enzymes it contains. So do not microwave, cook or bake with Nature's Gold!
You also want to follow the instructions carefully and start slowly with Nature's Gold to avoid immediate healing crisis reactions. The instructions can be found on the product label or the fact sheets.
It is recommended to start with Level I, and stay on Level I for at least 3 months before moving on to Level II. This gives your body a chance to get accustomed to higher level of nutrition it will be receiving. Those who have blood type O can start on Level II right away, but in those cases the same beginning protocol as with Level I should be observed.
Because of its immediate healing action on the gut, those with Crohn's Disease or Irritable Bowel Syndrome should approach Nature's Gold with even more caution than the half teaspoon a day recommended on the label. It is recommended to start with only a little, such as about one-eighth of a teaspoon, to evaluate how you will react to the product.
There is a small amount of gluten in Nature's Gold, and because of this the Fact Sheets carry a warning for those with celiac sprue disease. However, in practice it has been found that celiacs can tolerate Nature's Gold very well. Again, it would be recommended to approach the product cautiously in these cases, to avoid the possibility of an adverse reaction.
